How Urbanovellix Handles Personal Information

Our Privacy Commitment

This Privacy Policy explains how Urbanovellix handles personal data when customers browse, order, request delivery, contact us, or use return services. We operate within Singapore and follow the Personal Data Protection Act 2012, including its applicable data protection obligations. We collect information fairly and only when reasonably necessary.

Step One: Information We Collect

We may collect a customer’s name, telephone number, email address, Singapore address, order details, delivery instructions, correspondence, return information, and delivery records. Because Urbanovellix uses cash on delivery, we do not collect online card details. For an accepted refund, we may request bank details solely to complete the transfer.

Step Two: Why We Use It

We use personal data to process orders, confirm details, arrange free delivery, collect cash, provide updates, manage cancellations, evaluate eligible returns, issue exchanges or refunds, prevent misuse, maintain records, answer questions, and meet legal duties. Data will not be used for a new purpose without consent when required under applicable law.

Step Three: Sharing Information

Urbanovellix may share necessary information with couriers, technology and customer service providers, refund-processing banks, professional advisers, and public authorities where required. Each recipient receives only the information needed for its role. We do not sell or rent personal data. Providers are expected to protect information and use it only for relevant services.

If information is processed outside Singapore, Urbanovellix will take reasonable contractual and operational steps to maintain a standard of protection comparable to that required under the Personal Data Protection Act 2012. We will consider applicable transfer restrictions and regulatory guidance before arranging such processing.

Step Four: Storage and Protection

We apply reasonable administrative, functional, and physical safeguards against illegal access, loss, misuse, alteration, or disclosure. Access is limited to people who need the information for legitimate work. No method removes every risk, but we respond appropriately to identified security concerns.

We retain personal data only as long as reasonably required for the stated purposes, legal obligations, dispute handling, and record-keeping. Information that is no longer needed is deleted, anonymized, or securely disposed of where practicable.

Step Five: Access and Correction

Under the Personal Data Protection Act 2012, individuals may request access to their personal data and correction of inaccurate or incomplete data, subject to lawful exceptions.

Requests should be sent to laceup@urbanovellix.com with enough information to identify the requester and relevant records. Urbanovellix may verify the requester’s identity, follow the required procedures, and charge a reasonable fee for an access request where permitted. No fee will be charged for a correction request.

Step Six: Direct Marketing Choices

Urbanovellix will use personal data for direct marketing only when applicable notice and consent requirements under the Personal Data Protection Act 2012 are satisfied. Marketing communications will also be managed in accordance with applicable Do Not Call provisions.

Customers may refuse marketing or withdraw consent without charge by contacting laceup@urbanovellix.com. Opting out of marketing does not prevent communications needed to manage an order, delivery, return, refund, or legal obligation.

Electronic Records and Store Laws

Electronic orders, notices, and communications may be maintained under the Electronic Transactions Act 2010. Our product descriptions and customer communications are intended to remain accurate and avoid unfair practices under the Consumer Protection (Fair Trading) Act 2003. Order and product rights remain subject to the Sale of Goods Act 1979.

This policy is also read consistently with the Unfair Contract Terms Act 1977. Nothing here excludes or limits any mandatory consumer right, legal protection, or responsibility under Singapore law.
